Timeline
2115: The Coalition attacks, London is under siege, London nukes Belgrade, the Five save the world from the Coalition's viral plot and end up being put into cryosleep to recover from the injuries sustained while doing so.
2116-2131: War with the Coalition on Earth. The Five's exploits take on near-mythical proportions during this time, and it becomes not uncommon for EuroCorp soldiers to offer up a small prayer to them in battle. Several religions declare them minor saints for their efforts in saving Earth.
2132: EuroCorp begins evacuating assets to planets farther out in the solar system.
2190: The previous 58 years see the moon resettled, and Mars, as well as several Iovian and more remote moons. Titan is the primary moon settlement.
2192: The Templar program is initiated to replace the mostly-defunct Paladin program. From over a hundred Paladins, less than thirty remain.
2199: Templar is upgraded into his current form.
2204: EuroCorp evacuates its final assets from Earth, London is relocated to the moon and creates the Paris shard to oversee the outer colonies.
2210: The Coalition begins pursuing EuroCorp into space.
2211: EuroCorp renames itself to the United Nations, removes most of its corporate structure and ends the last vestiges of the Hypnos Program.
2222: The moon falls, London is put into stasis and evacuated to Titan.
2223-2301: Almost a hundred years of aggressive interplanetary warfare. The UN makes use of superior maneuverability to conduct lightning raids against Earth, damaging Coalition assets and stealing supplies.
2302: The first G-Drive test which doesn't pulp its crew or send them hurtling into the heart of a star. The interstellar evacuation begins.
2310: The insane Belgrade AI kills the crew aboard its evacuation ship and sets an unknown course into the void.
2327: Gamma Serpentis is chosen to be the hub of the UN evacuation and rebuilding effort. The system is renamed Bastion.
2350: Formal secession of Mexico City, Moscow and San Francisco AI's. They form the Vegan Republic. The UN does not move against them militarily, though it does publicly condemn them for splitting the anti-Coalition forces.
2352: Paris AI accepts leadership of the UN.
2353: Project Buckshot commissioned. The aim of the project is to send as many groups of colonists in as many different directions as possible so the UN will not be vulnerable to a single Coalition streke.
2357: The Coalition captures the UN base on Europa, stealing ancient examples of G-Drive tech in the process.
2360: First non-human, non-Earth animal and plant life discovered. No sentients encountered yet.
2362: Coalition settles Tau Ceti Prime.
2368: Inner Sol colonies fall or are evacuated, only the UN outpost on Titan remains.
2370-2387: UN efforts focused on stemming Coalition R&D and expansion. Raids are launched on Coalition R&D facilities in Sol doing research on G-Drives. Several ships are lost without trace within the Pillars of Creation nebular area. Major UN tech advances include learning how to terraform dead or hostile planets.
2391: Titan evacuation efforts halted as the Coalition develops a new breed of ships which can outmaneuver the older UN vessels so far used for the evacuation.
2406: Siege of Tau Ceti Prime begins.
2408: Operation Eagle Dive initiated. The UNFD St. Petersburg, supported by numerous smaller vessels including the legendary UNFCr Aberdeen, launch a distractionary attack against Coalition assets on Mars while the older, slower UNFD Thames reaches Titan and evacuates the stasis-held London AI as well as The Five in their cryo-sarcophagi. The HCFD Hikashi no Hana gives chase as the Thames makes an emergency G-Leap to the unpopulated Alpha Centauri system. Out of desperation, London is awoken, and her first directive is to "Awaken the Five."
