Tome of Shadows

Minor Shadowcall
Level 2, Necromancy/Shadows
Temporarily weakens the borders between the Shadow World and the real world in a large area. It lasts an hour for every level of the caster, for the duration, illusions are partially real, if they would do any damage or have hit points, they have a quarter of what their real versions would have. If any graveyards or old battlefields are within the area, undead may be raised or attracted.

Greater Shadowcall
Level 4, Necromancy/Shadows
Further weakens the border, this time in an area as large as a province. It lasts two hours for every level of the caster, for the duration, illusions are partially real, if they would do any damage or have hit points, they have half of what their real versions would have. If any graveyards or old battlefields are within the area, undead may be raised or attracted from them. Whether there are or not, incorporeal undead from the Shadow World will be present until the spell ends, uncontrolled by the caster(they may be turned or controlled by clerics as normal).

True Shadowcall
Level 9, Necromancy/Shadows
Permanently shatters the border between shadow world and mortal world, requires a level 3 or better Source in the province to be affected, and a day-long ritual.

This spell appears to be what has affected the elven provinces within the Coulladaraight. The Sayer somehow inverted the provinces into the shadow world by sacrificing her Sources there to power the magic. Each Source has been crystallized into a vast gemstone, carried by a guardian creature, which keeps the spell functional. Destroying a given province's guardian will return the province to the real world(mostly), though there are bound to be some lingering side effects, and some undead from the shadow world may be brought back to the normal side of Cerilia. As seen in the former elven province of Newych(now Liberationville), however, it doesn't seem to actually bring back the former residents. Possibly it'll take a different solution to bring them back, or they may simply be lost forever…
